Our Legal Organization
Created in 2005, BMATA is constituted as a non profit, non religious or political organization, with their activities focused on the protection of the environment.
In April 2007, BMATA obtained the OSCIP qualification – Civil Society Organization of Public Interest, according to the law 9.790/99 03/23/1999. Considering its objectives, this qualification is of great importance because it allows starting partnerships with the public sector to accomplish their work. It also allows that their partners may obtain financial benefits as sponsors in BMATA projects.
BMATA has in its legal structure a Financial Council and a Technical Council that added together bring to the legal corporation a professional management under the administrative perspective, without affecting the technical aspects. This structure makes it possible to achieve the goals with a scientific background coupled with the best management practices; they also enable a continuous improvement of working methodologies of the technical-administrative work.
