Being one of the few corporations focusing receiving birds for rehabilitation and release in the region, the Santista district, BMATA is always under a lot of pressure for new bird arrivals.

Over 60% of the birds that come to BMATA do not naturally occur in this area generating the need to act nationally and not only regionally. Because of this, besides the efforts taken in the aviary maintenance, BMATA has taken the challenge of creating logistics that are able to guarantee the freedom of rehabilitated birds.
